{MERC} Standing Operating Procedures (SOP)
HONOR
- MERC is a clan that values honor highly, and as such we hold ourselves to a higher standard.
This applies to other servers as well as on our own. Your actions will determine how other clans view us.
- Do not spawn kill (sk). Spawn killing is when you kill a character who is spawning.
If they move from the spawn site, or pick up a weapon, they are no longer spawning.
- Do not spawn camp. Spawn camping is when you find a nice safe spot and then kill your enemy
as he takes one step off his spawn location. If you see someone spawning, run past him or run
the other way. Giving the other player a few seconds to get going is honorable.
- Do not back kill. Back killing is when someone doesn't sk you and runs past you
and then you shoot them in the back. If someone let you spawn in safety, run the other
way and show them the same courtesy.
- Do not type kill (tk). If someone is facing a wall, standing still, and holding only
a knife or wristblade, they are typing and should not be attacked. Preds should uncloak
when typing.
- Those of you who have the Previlidge of ServerControl. Do Not Abuse this power.
Abusers of this privilidge will have that the Privilidge Revoked. (Please see Server
Control Rules posted on our Website)
- Do not use profanity or religious metaphors. *In our server or any others server.*
- Do not use any AimBOT, cheat commands, or hack codes.
- If someone does these things to you in a game, do not respond in kind. Death before dishonor!
LOYALTY
- You may not be affiliated with ANY other clan upon enlistment into MERC.
- You may not join or participate in another clan while in MERC.
(These pertain Only to the Games that {MERC} is associated with)
PARTICIPATION
- Please attend all mandatory meetings and practices. Any member who
enters our Mandatory Practices or Meetings without there {MERC} Tag and Name on,
will be booted from the event. Your participation is what makes MERC great.
"Participation Guarantees Membership"
- You must use MSN Messenger (http://messenger.msn.com),
as it will be used for our meetings.
- You must attend one practice per month.
- Practice and Meeting reminders are sent out by Email for every event.
Please reply to them ASAP.
- Recruiting will be done only by Team Captains, Non-Comissioned Officers
(E5 through E10), and all Commissioned Officers. (Please see recruiting
Rules posted on our Website.)
- Members who break any rule are subject to our 3 Strikes Point System.
(Any member who receives 3 Strikes will have there membership revoked)
- Players banned from {MERC} as a result of disciplinary action may not rejoin.
HAVE FUN
- Have fun! MERC has great players, both honorable and skilled. Fight 'em to the death!
- If it is in the game, use it. On our server, any weapon is considered fair, including
smartguns, spider mines, stagger fire, sniper zoom, and disk.
- If you are on another server, follow their rules and show MERC honor.
